JewelsMy mother wears her grief like jewelry.  Like pearls, clinging softly to her neck,  her grief is almost lovely in its quietness.  It clings to her, like second skin.

As the day unfoldsAs days whisks back and forth in time, our lives seems to occasionally flash before our eyes. A misty world, hidden behind a veil of tears, becomes translucent clear. Clear, but not clear enough for one to comprehend the episodes of life - the distant mysteries with odd ends and codes.   
When will life shed it's complexities and become simplistic. When will people cease to be onions, and become more like tomatoes. Onions exist within layers of sorrows, while tomatoes are but one whole of delight. As the day unfolds

I have come to slowly accept the person I am today. I have accepted and acknowledged the fact that I am a flawed individual, and the mistakes I've made are neitherless to say, by anyway a definity of who I am, or who I will be in the future. I have loved myself despite by imperfections and have accepted that perfection is unattainable. I strive for a change within myself, that will make me a better person and change the quality of my life for the better.

I am finally 16, yey! I have watched my life unravel itself before my very eyes, and did nothing. I played a non-active role in my life, and as a result the cards dealt to me by fate was played out by life itself.

I vow to become a proactive person in everything I do, Love myself more, be happy, smile a lot more often , hug the people I love more often, and most of all live my life to the fullest. hahah and maybe this year I will conquer my fear of heights! (what a goal)

if you wanna share your poem, you can go to"forum" then "deviation thumbshare"

then find a forum where you can show ur piece off :clap:

on th lower right of th description box of ur work there should be something like :thumb(somenumber): if u copy and paste that on a forum reply, it'll link ur work so th topic creator can see ur work
